The Civic Archaeological Museum collects artifacts dating back to a time span that includes the VIII century BC until the XIII A.D. Inside the museum have been reconstructed reproductions of two tombs of Peucetian warriors with weapons and furniture. Opened on 8 April 2000 in the Palace of the former Episcopal Seminary with an exhibition entitled "Warriors in life heroes after death." It is enriched with precious monuments and other artefacts, unearthed during excavations on the nearby hill or Botromagno or Petramagna a site of a vast pre-Roman settlement, and in the surrounding area called "Eternal Father", along the Gravina torrent. It offers the public an early and significant choice of restored tomb furnishings.
