Description:
The complex was rebuilt on the ruins of a Benedictine Abbey and a nearby church dedicated to Santa Maria della Pace in the early fifteenth century. As can be seen from octagonal columns, which divide the three aisles, it was rebuilt in the eighteenth century at the top and outer walls. The interior preserves a wooden crucifix (XIV-XV century) and a carved wooden altar commissioned by Orsini (XVII). The monastery was restored and adapted as a museum for the Holy Year of 2000.
