Description:
The church is situated on a hill above the town of Tržič. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the town centre and reach the church of St. Joseph. You can enjoy a beautiful view from the top of the hill. The one-nave baroque church dates back to the year 1704. It is special because of its renaissance ceiling from 1689 that was brought from the St. George's church. The church forms a shape of a cross with its two chapels. The main altar was made of wood at first, but in the year 1860 the stonecutter Vurnik from Radovljica made a new marble altar. Both side altars are made of wood and in baroque style.
