Description:
The Cathedral of St. Lawrence is situated on the site of an earlier church that had been destroyed during the medieval times. The current church was started on in the twelfth century but took many years to complete hence why the variety of styles. The architecture of the church includes Mannerist, Gothic and Romanesque. The Chapel of St John includes a tableau scene and was built by Nikola Fiorentinac, who also worked on Sibenik’s cathedral.
