| Trogir museum was opened in 1966 in the former palace of the Garagnin-Fonfogna family who had resided here since the eighteenth century. The museum contains a number of prehistoric, Greek and Roman finds including pieces of helmets and stone reliefs. There is also a collection of original minutes from the meetings of the Fourteenth Century City Council meetings and you can also find coats of arms from the local nobles within the museum. There is a large library and a municipal stone monuments collection with each arranged in chronological order. |
