Description:
The church which had been built by the chartreuse Mauerbach in the 17th century was destroyed during the Turkish invasion of 1683. In 1696, the new Baroque building was already complete. It is consecrated to the "Visitation of Mary" and developed into a popular pilgrimage church. The wayside shrines along Frauenhofner Straße also belong to the pilgrimage. Since 1782, the church has been affiliated with the parish Tulln.
