At mid February 2009, Eurobank EFG and the Center for Inclusive Society Development have inked an agreement on a donation worth RSD4 million, which is allocated for renovation, reconstruction and modernization of a park for disabled children and adults. The Eurobank EFG Rainbow Park, is the first of this kind in the region (Norveska Str., in New Belgrade-based settlement Bezanijska kosa), which reconstruction was implemented in two phases: by playgrounds reconstruction, and then the whole park refurbishment with new installations, lighting, as well as with a special mobiliar for disabled children and equipment for physical training. At mid June 2009, official opening has been organized, while children’s art competition in the Rainbow park , with the topic “ My new Eurobank EFG Park- Park of Rainbow colors was held at beginning of October. The park reconstruction is to be implemented by co-operating with the Center for Development of Inclusive Society, Eurobank is involved in programmes that provide support to the principles of the “Design for Everyone“, i.e. principles of the International Convention of the United Nations for promotion and protection of rights and dignity of disabled persons, which was inked by the Republic of Serbia on December 17, 2007. According to these principles, four branches of Eurobank have been reconstructed by now, in Belgrade,New Belgrade, Novi Sad and Nis in order to suit the needs of disabled persons.
